I recently saw an updated on CJOnline.com in the trial of the Topeka Man, Tommy Kent, who alleged shot from his truck and killed an 18 year old who was out hunting with his friends.

Even though this man turned himself in, he appears to be fighting this tooth and nail.  I do hope justice will play out in this case and triumph over legal wrangling.  I sincerely believe in every man's right to the best legal defense possible, but it just seems fairly cut and dry in this case.  Not to mention the young man who lost his life seemed to be a pretty stand up guy.

Here is the link to the article, Ballistics' role in trial crucial.  The comments following the article are pretty interesting and seem to mirror most people's sentiments.  There is one guy who commented that he seemed to feel that every hunter at one time or other has been a slob, illegal hunter.  Well, I don't think I have fallen into that category and sure hope I never encounter this guy in the field.
