I just saw this article about how in Washington, you can now send in a text message to report wildlife violators. I'd sure like to see something like this in Kansas.

Apparently the text message goes direct to the department communication center. Reading the article, all in all it sounds pretty efficient. I have no idea if WA wildlife law enforcement officers are spread as thin as they are in Kansas or not.
I admit, I still am not 100% sure to do if I see something wrong. I tend to think calling 911 over someone cleaning some short fish is probably not going to get much attention, but maybe that is short sided on my part. If I saw something serious enough, I wouldn't hesitate, but I am not sure what 'serious enough' actually means.
This WA deal seems like a good program that works efficiently.
