Well, I have a dilemna.  It seems like the last few weeks here at El Dorado have not been kind to me.   A few weeks ago, on one of my first walleye outings, I was able to bring 3 up, one of them a keeper. 

With the last few weeks of rain and weather, I'm not sure which way to head with my efforts now.  I was out today for an hour looking over some spots that should be holding crappie and I couldn't make anything happen.  Over the weekend I was at a different lake, Eureka, and couldn't keep the crappie (mostly small tho) off my hook.

Every summer about this time, I have an informal kind of reunion with my family that involves a bunch of kids.  For some of them, this is pretty much the one time of year they fish, others fish more regular but its mostly pond fishing.

So, I have a dilemna.  I'd love to get these kids on some fish of any sort, but just not sure what this lake is going to do me.  Might have to resort to a trot line - at least that way they can *see* some fish.
The last two years, weather has jumped up and kicked in right before the get together. One year it was rain, last year it was terrible wind.
